Why I Switched to Hypertherm Powermax 45 FineCut Consumables (And Stopped Wasting My Department’s Budget)

After processing roughly $150,000 in consumables orders annually across our eight vendors, I learned this the hard way: the cheapest Hypertherm Powermax 45 FineCut consumables will cost you more in rework and downtime than the premium ones will in upfront price. If you're running a high power laser cutting machine or a plasma table for tumblers, this is the single most important purchasing decision you'll make this year.

I manage all equipment and supply ordering for a 30-person metal fabrication shop.
